Question 2: If Sameer travels 5 minutes at 20 m/s to the east direction, how much will he be displaced?


Given: Time t = 5 minute

Velocity = 20 m/s

Displacement formula is given as s = v x t

Change minutes to seconds; t = 5 X 60 seconds = 100 seconds

s = 20 X 100

= 2000 m

Hence, Sameer travels 2000 meters in the east direction in five minutes.
